Food Distribution Program
Provides nutritious food to income eligible families and individuals throughout the Greater Gardner community.
Senior Food Pantry
Held the third Friday of each month between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, providing nutriious low-sodium foods to individuals age 62 and over residing in Gardner, AShburnham, Hubbardston and Westminister.
Emergency Funds
Provides families and individuals in crisis assistance with emergency needs such as first months rent, one month's rent to prevent eviction, and utility bills with a termination notice. Assistance is provided while funds are available.
NWC Help Connection
The NWC Help Connection is an Information and Referral call center. Individuals are able to utilize this program for assistance in locating services for a specific emergency need.
Medical Transportation Program
Provides transportation to seniors for medical appointments outside of Gardner, extending as far as Worcester.
Fellowship Table Program
Provides a free nutritious weekly meal at the First Congregational Church, 28 Green Street in Gardner every Thursday served at 4:30 PM.
Holiday Programs
Food Baskets are distributed to families in need through the Holiday season and toys for children between the ages of newborn to 12 are available to families in need.
Clothing Closet - Not available while at our temporary location
Provides individuals with donated clothing and household items at no charge.
The Magic of Books - Not available while at our temporary location
Provides children access to donated children’s literature at no charge. Children are encouraged to select their own book to take home.
Fuel Assistance Satellite Office
A representative from Fuel Assistance arrives weekly, while the program is in effect, to accept applications and answer questions regarding the program. Appointment must be made through the Fuel Assistance Agency prior to your visit.
Project Contact Applications
Applications are available beginning May 1, for children ages 6-12, to attend a one-week session of summer camp.
